I am looking for best preschools in bangalore which provides not just day care and play school but also nursery and kindergarden.
Whitefield/sharjapura/KR puram/Koramangla areas would be preferable.

Shemrock Tinkerbells(inside Sun city apartments, outer ring road)
Cherubs Montessori (HSR layout-behind Mantri Sarovar)

    Hi,
If u r planning to put your little one in We Care, then this is not at all a right place. They try to impress parents with the toys that they got from US (Which also we get it in India) and with their specious class rooms.Believe me I was with them few months so I have experienced it.People like Reshma and Sonal hire teachers who r not well qualified ,they wants someone who work for them 6 to 10 hours for very less salary. What I wants to say is that they charge heavily but poor quality of education.Reshma is also a heartless lady that I have ever seen in my life." More u pay,More quality u get"is not true here. The logo "We Care" doesn't apply here for your kids, that applies for your money.

    Nuthan ,

I agree with you that wecare is very money minded and they charge a pretty hefty deposit ..

They have opened another branch in sarjapur but I really didn't like their campus or their marching orders kind of environment..

I heard that Apple Kids is better..

    Cheers

    You can also try out

    Eurokids
    Roots to wings

please try to visit all the schools around your area before deciding. Some of the schools looks good , but service wise they might not be best.
Talk to these schools and find out what is best for your child. My daughter goes to roots to wings, kasturinagar . I had visited 5-6 schools before deciding on this one. I am quite happy on this decision.

Avoid Vidyarambh for the betterment of your kids and their safety. This is one of the worst play schools I have ever seen. Let me list down the reasons and my bad experiences here:

    1. Kid to teacher ratio is too large. They are just not able to manage and pay personal attention to each and every kid. I got totally shocked by the seeing the situation of kids during the recently held Annual day function. All the kids were made to sit in the basement. There was just one lady trying to manage some 25 kids. Most of the kids were totally panicked and were screaming. When I and my wife went to basement to pick our kid, nobody even bothered. With this situation, anybody could have easily kidnapped the kids. It might be the same situation during the outdoor trip (they have such trips once in a month). This is definitely very panicky.
    2. Managed by highly commercial and money minded folks. They try to find out all the possible ways to mint money. Latest being, charging entrance fees for Parents to view their kid perform during the annual day.
    3. Apart from the regular hefty fees, they try to exploit the parents by asking them to nominate their kids to other activities like Jelly beans. They would charge again separately for this. When you don’t show interest in these, they would show their displeasure in some or the other way which I experienced recently. During the annual day, my daughter’s stage presence was just for 20 seconds and that too she was pushed somewhere in the corner. I was amazed to see this level of discrimination being made for the no fault of hers. If she starts getting the inferiority complexion at this age itself, she would never be able to gain confidence in her.
    4. You are not allowed to make a surprise visit to the school to check your kids. If you want to watch your kid, you need to do that through live webcam for which again you need to pay hefty amount. (Another way of squeezing money)
    5. Often my kid complains that her teacher pinched her. A 2 year old kid would never lie. Once I even went and complained about this to the school authorities. But their response was not at all satisfactory.
    6. This is something very un-usual which I have noticed in Vidyarambh. The way they (teachers) receive the kids, if you leave them to school in a posh car is totally different from the way them receive if you leave them on a two wheeler or by walk. This is really pathetic. Are they trying to give special treatment to kids of very rich parents???
I have decided to dis-continue here immediately. Could you please suggest some good schools near by..

    Thanks, Sumanth

    Hey,

On Sarjapur road, the best I have seen is Lullaby Kids. They had a branch at HSR Layout and my friend's daughter was going there. My son goes to sarjapur branch now. They also have branch in KR Puram now. They have a wonderful teacher student ration and that ratio is maintained everytime. very clean, neat and hygienic environment for the kids. The staff or the center head is approachable at all times. The fees is very much affordable, have around 26 to 30k Per year, where food is also provided. The best thing is the center head is very much particular about certified staff. We can feel really the mother's care in the staff. Excellent preschool. Dont miss it. They also have a website, lullabykids.com.
A happy parent of lullaby, santa.

    To Sumanth,
even my friend had similar complaints with 3 preschools, kidzee, vidyarambh and we care, which is supposed to be the big and beautiful preschool. You can try Lullaby Kids, that is where my son goes from june 2010. schools like kidzee hav a ration of 1:35 for teacher student at times. It might be shocking for u, but most schools have this. In lullaby, they have never done. The center head is Archana and she is a very good person, who will make u very comfortable and take care of your kid very well.the whole team in this school is excellent. Just try them out.
    Thanks,
    Santa.
