Tips on Post pregnancy diet to be followed in first three months of post pregnancy period in Diet.

* Eat healthy and give time to your body to recover.
* Exercise in moderation to help the metabolism to function optimally.
* Exclusive Breast feeding is the best way to regain the pre pregnancy weight and shape.
* Concentrate on more of protein, vitamin and mineral rich food instead of calorie dense food.
* Do not heed to the myths linked to breast-feeding; like having excess fatty foods leads to good breast milk production etc.

Great question! Make sure that you are taking all of your daily vitamins and minerals. This will help bring your body back to normal instead of your hormones taking control. I believe that keeping it simple is the best way to go. When you are headed to the gym, try and do 30-45 minutes of moderate cardio - and you can split it up into 10 minute intraverals if you need. Then, spend the next 30 minutes lifting. If you want to tone, do more reps per machine or exercise and use less weight and if you want to gain some muscle, do less reps with more weight. Only workout 5 days, 6 at the most. Your body needs a rest. As for your meals, just keep it simple. Stay away from cheese! If you are a vegetarian, try grilling vegetables or portabello mushroom and make them into nice meals or sandwiches. And don't forget that it is OK to snack - just snack on the 100 calorie packs.
I use a site called http://www.FitClick.com. This site has an online calorie counter that allows you to type in your food, portion size and then it shows you the nutrient value. Good luck and remember, keep focused on your goal!

Most of the woman take lot of care during pregnancy and spend lot of healthy diet but after delivering the baby they hardly give time for themselves. Some say that they don’t find time to eat well as they need to look after the baby and others say that they need to reduce their intake to maintain their body. But if you want a healthy and happy life then you must add healthy and nutritious diet post pregnancy. Pulses, cereals, fruits, vegetables, ghee and milk are some of the common things to be included in diet.

It is true that a lady who is conceiving requires lot of food but one who has delivered a baby need to attend more on food. For a mother of a new born baby tends to be the producer of food. At this the demand of milk will be more where a mother need to have a healthy nutritious food in the morning to develop more milk. Basically during post pregnancy it is recommended that mother should have iron, protein and mineral rich food. It is also advisable to increase your vitamin level by taking on to vegetables and fruits.
