Monica donít worry much about this behavior of your son. Usually most of the children cry to go to school during initial few months but once they get friends in the school they will start enjoying the company. Actually two and half years is a right age for playschool so, donít listen to your in-laws and discontinue his schooling.

Usually it is a common case found in many families where one want to educate a child at tender age. The reason behind why a child cries often at the absence of their parent is due to extreme attachment towards them. It is better allow the child to deal with new environment without showing consistent love. Allow the child to accept new people and environment. Do not stick to them at every call of cry. What is usually found in child is that he or she has the capability to adapt to new environment very fast. If interest built at early age towards learning new things then they will show prompt likeness towards school environment. It is recommended to send a child to school for education at the age of four or five. But then do not underestimate your child for he has the caliber to learn new things from very tender age. Only the thing that you need to build in the child is sense of independence and courage.
