    After MCA

    After completing MCA, You can do ME (Computer Science & Engineering).

    Eligibility Qualifications for admission to M.E. Computer Science and Engineering:

    M.C.A. (10+2+3+3 years pattern) or
    M.Sc. 5 years integrated (IT / CS / Software Engineering) or
    B.E./ B.Tech. (EEE/ ECE/ Electronics/ IT/ CSE/ I&C/ E&I/Instrumentation)

    NOTE

    • M. Sc. (2 years) course is NOT eligible for admission to M.E. (Computer Science).

    • Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in Degree Courses are NOT eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. degree.

    • B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. degrees obtained through Distance Education Mode / Week end Courses are NOT eligible.

    MCA or Master of Computer Application is one hot PG degree, just like MBA. The hotness varies as according to your MCA specialization. Either you will become computer Network Engineer/ Test Engineer/ Technical Support Engineer/ Software Engineer, etc. Students all who pass out will be having thorough software engineering skills.
    • Job prospects hugely depends upon from which university you got MCA degree
    • Even though most MCA people easily gets absorbed as programmers
    • Not Indian companies alone, but top notch MNC companies vie for MCA students
    • However, many are there who goes as professors, academicians, etc

    I actually feel that people coming from MCA background will have more knowledge on system and software programming. Usually most of the IT companies give opportunity for MCA graduates in various fields of programming, testing and even networks. If you are planning to pursue MCA then it is a very good choice, go ahead.

    Talking about MCA certified course ……well it has the highest demand in technical related field. You have the opportunity to become a soft tech in any software company. Even you can get into the job of Server Administrator. If you are looking for fat salary job then join as I Phone Developer after completing the MCA course. You have the opportunity to become a Software Tester also.

    MCA is actually a very good pg course which has more scope there are many advantages in doing it. As black orchid said you will be qualified to the posts mentioned above. There are many job opportunities for this special PG course.
