    Hello

I am interested in reading the study material for the intermediate and final course of ICSI but I do not want to enroll for the CS course. Is it possible to buy the study material from ICSI without enrolling as a student?

I think every MAN in his life has to read a book, which portrays a strong leader as a main hero. It dont matter whther its fictional or historical, but it should be about a strong mans life, about what he did etc.

Usually if you have joined a company secretary course then the tutors only will provide all the study materials or else atleast will ask you to follow some of the books. Well, I also know some books for company secretary and the list is as follows
    • Master Guide to Company Secretaries Dr. S. Kannan
    • Company Secretarial Practice by S. A. Sherekar, J. K. Mitta
    • The Company Secretary's Handbook: A Guide to Duties and Responsibilities by Helen Ashton

To get an edge into this field of job you need to read books authored by professional or one with in-depth knowledge in it. What best could be suggested for your help is to read the book authored by Keith Walmsley. Well if you want to know….why I am suggesting this author book then let me tell you he is a reputed LL.B, Barrister and FCIS who has in-depth understanding in this role of job. He edits good many books on official ICSA information service and Company Secretarial Practice. Even Andrew C Hamer's books are highly recommended for preparing for such role. Book like Master Guide to Company Secretaries by Dr. S. Kannan is a recommendable one.

    Hi abhagupta!!
The minimum qualification of Company Secretary Examination is (10+2) schooling..
You will get prospectus from the Regional Office of ICSI at the cost of Rs.200/- or Rs.250/-. You can also get the prospectus through post by sending the Demand Draft in the name of ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’ and send it to ICSI House, 22, Institutional Area, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003.
For further enquiries you can contact ICSI helpline – 011-41504444
I don’t have much information regarding books.. You can ask ISCI helpline for books.. Once you registered, they will provide you study materials for all the subjects..
