Thread: Is Pasta Bad For You
Pasta is actually made up of Carbohydrate. Carbohydrate is one of the three major nutrients found in our diet along with protein and fat. Our body need Carbohydrate for energy. But over consumption of Carbohydrate will make us fat, they cause diabetes, and they stimulate our appetites. Wheat is rich in carbohydrate. To get good carbohydrate, you can take wheat bread, chappathi, etc… Avoid processed carbohydrate that includes white flour, white rice, etc.. Pasta is made up of white flour (Maida).. You can eat pasta, but not on regular basis. Eating pasta every day is not good for health. Once in while cannot cause much troubles to your body..
I mean, Italians eat pasta all the time, but they don't die.
However, in India if you eat a lot of it, you might get an upset stomach.

Whatever the food maybe, excessive of anything is good for nothing. Better have a control on everything you eat. Include all tastes — sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter and astringent — in at least one meal each day. This helps you in controlling the unnatural craving and may help you in losing weight and gaining health.
