    hi guys

    during this summer vacation we are planning to visit Kullu Manali. Can anyone tell me distance between Kullu and Manali?

    also tell me some prime attractions and places to see in Kullu and Manali

    Distance between Kullu and Manali is 40 kms.

    Places to visit in Kullu-Manali:

    Hadimba Devi Temple
    Built in 1553 and with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof. It is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.

    Manu Temple
    This is dedicated to the sage Manu.

    Vashishth (3km)
    Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashishth and to Lord Rama. These are just beyond the Himachal tourism baths.

    Monasteries


    There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali.

    Jagatsukh (6km)
    The one time capital of Kullu. Here are old temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and to Sandhya Gayatri. The Arjun caves are just ahead.

    Solang Valley (l4km)
    In a picturesque setting, this has good ski slopes end picnic spots. It has the glacier closest to Manali.

    Towards the Rohtang Paas
    On the road to keylong is the Nehru kund (6 km) which is a clear water spring end scenic spot named after the late Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Kothi (12 km) is a picturesque village and has a thrilling view of the deep gorge through which the Beas swiftly races. The beautiful Rahalla falls (16 km) are at an altitude of 2500 m. A crucial link on the old trade route and still the gateway to trans Himalayan Lahaul, the Rohtang Pass is at the height of 3980m.

    Keylong
    Lying about 120 km from Manali, Keylong is the headquarters of Lahaul and spiti district Monasteries of Kardung and Shashus are important attractions.

    Kothi
    A place with charming natural beauty, just 10-12 km from Manali.

    Triloknath
    Located in the Pattan Valley, its an important pilgrimage centre. Noted for its temple dedicated to six armed statue of Avalokiteshwara Bodhisattva.

    Udaypur
    An important pilgrimage place in the Pattan Valley.

    Club House
    The club House with its comprehensive facilities that includes roller skating ring, an auditorium, a billiards room, a library, a bar and a restaurants, makes a wonderful outing for the day.

    Vashisth Baths
    One of Manali's main attractions, is a place to luxuriate in Himachal Tourism's baths where the water of hot sulphur springs renowned for their medicinal qualities has been piped into baths.

    Not much distance is there b/w Kullu and Manali city. If I am'nt wrong, Manali to Kullu distance difference comes to somewhere 40 kms. I donno how much is that in miles, but I know that Manali is closer to Kullu. If you are a first timer to this place, then never ever skip visiting valley of Gods. Yes, that’s how Kullu valley is famously known. You can see much others too, as Kullu is western Himalayas part.
    • Much time ago, Kullu valley was even considered as human habitation end area
    • In banks of Beas, you can see different apple orchards, wood temples
    • Kullu boasts of pretty women too
    • Just after this valley is Manali
    • If hungry, go here as this valley boasts of fruit orchards variety

    Kullu and Manali are located at a distance of 37 km and are well connected by number of well constructed roads and you can choose the one that is nearest for you. Both these places have dozens of noted attractions which you can check out. Some of the most visit sights of Kullu and Manali are Vashishtha Baths, Solang Valley, Rehalla Falls and The Great Himalayan National Park.

    Total Distance Between Kullu and Manali

    Kullu is a nice city located in India; this city is being located on longitude of about 77.1137384, the latitude of about 31.9228127. Whereas Manali is also located in India on the longitude of about 77.157655, latitude of about 32.257655. The overall distance of these two places is about 37 KM (kilometers) which is about 472.42 meters. Total miles are about 23.3 miles. Here are some famous places in and around Kullu are as follows.
    • Bijli Mahadev Temple
    • Pulga and Kheerganga
    • Naggar
    • Manikaran
    • Bajeshwar Mahadev Temple

One could not resist themselves from Manali if they are visiting Kullu which is just a distance of 40 kms. Here in Kullu area you can visit the places like Bajeshwar Mahadev Temple, Bijli Mahadev Temple, Naggar, Manikaran and Kheerganga. Talking about Manali there are exclusive places to serve your senses like Keylong, Solang Valley and Tibetan monasteries.

    Road Distance or driving distance from Kullu to Manali is 42 kms (26.00 miles).
    The main attractions in kullu and Manali are,
    Raghunathji Temple, Bijli Mahadev Temple, The Great Himalayan National Park, Basheshwar Mahadev Temple, Vashist Spring , Manali Sanctuary and Hidimba Devi Temple etc.
