If there is any interested candidate eligible for the post of Junior Translators (CSOLs) Combined All India Open Examination 2012 then one can apply as there is current opening in it as notified by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of New Delhi. There will be a written examination on 18th November this year after which performance the candidates will be selected for the final personal interview round. In various centers like Patna, Allahabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Gangtok, Port Blair, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Kochi, Delhi, Bengaluru, Guwahati (Dispur), Jaipur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Panaji, Mumbai, Raipur, Ahmedabad, Leh, Bhopal, Srinagar (J&K), Jammu and Chandigarh the written test will be conducted. The details of examination center and venue will be highlighted in the admit card provided to the candidates. Desired candidates for the post must have Master’s Degree in Hindi or English (English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level from a reputed University or Institute). Else one having Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English can also apply (must have Hindi or English medium, and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level from a recognized University or Institute). Even Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English can also apply (must have Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination, and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from a reputed University or Institute). One having Diploma or Certified course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa can also apply for the post. Similarly one having Degree or Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a reputed University can also apply. There should be two years at least experience in Translation Work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government organizations or PSUs. Proficiency in one of the languages other than Hindi (as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution) at the level of Matriculation from a reputed Board or its equivalent is necessary. One should not be aged above 30 years. This age limitation is not observed over SC, ST, PWD, EXS, PH and OBC candidates as per to the government norms
There will be imposition of Application Fee of Rs 100 for all excluding SC, PH, EXS and ST candidates. It is important to acquire a Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) for paying the application fee at any post office of India.

One should provide on or before 5th October the filled application form, CRFS (duly affixed & cancelled) and attested documents of all required certificates in an envelope with atop mention as to The Regional Director with advertisement center address mention.
