Re: Sample Interview Questions for Nursery Admission in Delhi Schools

I think the majority of reputed schools admit childrens on the basis of social and financial status of their parents / guardians. This whole process of interview is a farce. How and on what basis can you judge a child who is barely 4 or 5 years old. Secondly, on a moral note it is the duty of a school to prepare the child for the greater challenges of life and make him a better human being. So, if from interview the school reaches the conclusion that the child is not up to mark (in whatever sense) even then morally they have no moral right to deny admission to the child. Are schools meant for bright childrens only?

On a more practical note some of the sample question that can be asked are:

1. Why do you want to admit your child to this school?
2. How much donation can you pay?

As regards dress code, I think you should dress formally

Re: Sample Interview Questions for Nursery Admission in Delhi Schools

If the school is really looking for bright young kids, I think there are certain basic questions which are asked, and the result of the interview generally, provided there are sensible teachers conducting it(which they generally are),depends not only upon whether the answers are correct but also upon how they are given by the kids.

Re: Sample Interview Questions for Nursery Admission in Delhi Schools

Why do you want to admit your child to this school?
How do you know about this school?

I think these two questions are most popular for parents in Delhi schools.

Real love stories never have endings.

Re: Sample Interview Questions for Nursery Admission in Delhi Schools

In DPS, Indirapuram my kid was asked about " Identify the color name " , recite a rhyme  and then they asked about shape . In Delhi school it is strictly prohibited so there should not be any more interaction for kids. and Everything is point based now. Actually i was checking on one good site  named schooladmissionindia   It  has facility to calculate all the points mentioned in form . It can give us idea where we stand . I mean we can calculate it manually but that software is very good and useful,  there are also softwares  prepared specially for Delhi parents who are seeking admission this year like distance calculator to calculate from your home location to School and also Facility of " School on Map" which displays which schools are available in area of 3 km or 5 km ...  Apart from this deadlines of admissions for all the schools. Overall its good Package which is helpful for all  of us.
