want to know what baby skin rash is concerned about? Also please tell me how can I protect my baby's skin from rashes. I have a 6 months old baby.
Dear Tulip,
When babies get rashes they become irritate and some time it alsopains. So, to avoid the rashes always use talcum when he/she urinates ,when tying a diaper use talcum or vaseline on a body and they tie a diaper.Try to keep baby dry as much as possible

Causes of skin rashes can be many.. Sweat, milk in the face and especially neck areas.. to urine, feces
or diaper rash in the thighs, genital area..
Give your baby a bath daily and wipe with a wet cloth before sleep, Dust talcum powder liberally.. For the face use a baby lotion and massage.. Before bath use baby oil and see that the skin is not dry which will result in more rashes..
For diaper rash read this post.. It has in depth suggestions by sanjay..

Hey there
ALL BABIES HAVE DIAPER RASH !
Having a diaper rash is a common & a normal part of being a baby. There are many ways you can limit the amount of rash, but from time to time it will flare up again.
BABIES often get DIAPER RASH.Start with ultra sensitive skin, add the chemicals and moisture of urine and stools, cover the area with a diaper that rubs back and forth, and you have diaper rash . This damaged skin is susceptible to the invasion of bacteria and yeast, which can make the rash worse.
8 Natural Remedies To Treat BABY Diaper Rash!!
1. Mix fresh butter with small amount of gentle and soft herbal kids’ powder and apply on skin, this soothes diaper rash.
2. Gently rub baby oil on the baby’s skin as this also soothes and moisturizes baby’s skin and prevents diaper rash.
3. Applying baby lotions which are soft and soothing for the baby’s skin is a good alternative for preventing diaper rash. They are easily available in the medical stores but make it a point to always buy natural baby care products as the chemical-based products are not safe for your baby’s skin.
4. Mix half teaspoon of clean water in small amount olive oil and gently massage on baby’s skin this prevents diaper rash and the other alternative you can go for is massage the baby skin using fresh milk.
5. Dip baby’s cotton nappies in an effectual vinegar and water solution for final rinsing after the normal wash, as vinegar has the property to kill all the fungus and bacterial infections that cause skin rashes.
6. Cornstarch also works marvel in soothing the skin rashes caused by moist and wet diapers.
