GRE ASPIRANT - Need suggestions

Hi
I finished my BCom in 1998 and then I moved to computer programming. Back then it was difficult for me to think of higher education and as a matter of fact , I was not too keen till this day.  Now I am working as a programmer in US for past 2 years with an Indian based company. Now I want to go for MS.  But I am totally unaware if I can. I have passed BCom with mere 52% and also it was (as a private Candidate ) external BCom. The only thing positive now is my enthusiasm and my experience of working with the best global companies in IT. Please let me know if I stand a chance to get admission in any of the decent universities in US if I score good in GRE. Also I am planning to come to India on vaccation and take GRE classes so if you have any suggestion for good coaching inst for GRE.

Any response would be highly appreciated.
regards
'C'

Re: GRE ASPIRANT - Need suggestions

Aspiro..

For pursuing your MS in US you need to have 12th + 4 years of education..Since you have finished B.Com.. you need a certificate for another year...

Did you attend any course in computer programming.. If you did what was the duration... See if you can get any letter from the institute stating the course details...

If you haven't then join any community college in the US and choose a course that is relevant to your choice of specialization in masters...

Most of the reputed univ in US require a good GPA score or percentage..Since your GPA is low .. try to make up for it by scoring very well in your GRE..

Best of luck

Where will you be living in India.. Then I can suggest a few classes for GRE...
