Wall Hardware

My question is I have dark paneling in my family room with a stone fireplace. I just bought a dark brown sectional to make it like a media room. The room is very large. I thought I would add some turquoise tones to the couch the walls and table accents. Also, including lamps to brighten things up. Originally, I was going to paint all the walls turquoise but I felt it was too much blue. The room does not have much light where the couch is so my husband painted the wall behind the couch a light taupe. Should I go for the same color for the room and add turquoise that way,. Please advise. Thanks

Re: Wall Hardware

Turquoise on all the walls will not be an ideal choice as it will be too eye catching ....and will be a very dominating feature in your drawing room..One wall with turquoise is fine but as one wall has already been done in taupe it might not be the color to go for...

Taupe seems to be an ideal choice and if its dark taupe you can choose beige to complement with it or choose any other neutral shade...You can also choose any color from your upholstery that goes with taupe...

Cheers
