Hey that's a pretty interesting question
My son, from the looks of it wants to become a pilot because he always keeps on talking about planes and keeps making paper planes too..hehe
but i haven't done anything as of now to secure his future...Actually kinda scary thought. What can be done however? He is still too young and by the time he grows his ambition might change. So come to think of it i haven't really done anything about it
Can you suggest?

hey manali,
i think you should take a step to secure your child's education atleast. Our children deserve to get good education after all that's the base of their future...Isn't it? The cost of education is rising and it wont be long when it reaches a level beyond our reach. The safest way is to take a child education plan for your kid. Maybe something like Aviva would help
I have a 7 year old kid and looks like he is on his way to be a doctor

Hey Priya,,
Nice topic..
One thing for sure Kids these days have a lot more choice when it comes to having a profession or career or a dream..
And we as parents are also more open to choices unlike our parents..
Tagging along their curiosities and see where their interest lies is the key to realizing your childs dream..
Get them to talk about their likes and dislikes and what they would like to do when they grow up.. how they want to go about it...should be good for starters..
Some kids are good at academics while others do well in arts.. We must understand their passion and instill confidence in them to pursue their interest and not force them to do what we feel is right..
Setting up an education fund is going to be useful..
Being there for your child is the most important thing...
Cheers

My child wants to become a painter, sine he always stands first in his school's competitions. I have invested in Child plans for a financial backing and have also consulted my financial advisor on this.
As a father, I sit with him and try understanding his thoughts behind each painting
