Can anaybody can tell me what is "dalt" spice used in an indian recipe of "banno kabab". Cannot find anywhere what it is and it is not a mispelling for "salt".
Thanks

Kali Tango.. Is this a recipe you got from the net..
Its actually Salt only and before you deny.. Look at the method to cook.. Nowhere is the spice dalt mentioned..
If you are not convinced and have actually tried the recipe in a restaurant don't hesitate to ask them if they have used dalt..or salt..
I am positive its salt.....
Cheers

Kali Tango,
Banno kabab is not an Indian dish!
Dalt is a type of a spice which is not from India, mostly the peshawar area!
No hope of making it here though!
Hope this helps
