indian spice unidentified

Can anaybody can tell me what is "dalt" spice used in an indian recipe of "banno kabab".  Cannot find anywhere what it is and it is not a mispelling for "salt".

Thanks

Re: indian spice unidentified

Kali Tango.. Is this a recipe you got from the net..

Its actually Salt only and before you deny.. Look at the method to cook.. Nowhere is the spice dalt mentioned..

If you are not convinced and have actually tried the recipe in a restaurant don't hesitate to ask them if they have used dalt..or salt..

I am positive its salt.....

Cheers

I Think It is a misspelling for "salt".

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling and even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it. Be  a reason for others to smile.
