Osteoporosis in space travellers.

The space travellers suffer from muscle atrophy(loss of muscle) , and bone loss(one main cause of osteoporosis) due to weightlessness inthe space , so they are allowed to stand on a vibrating plate for 10 to 20 minutes to prevent bone loss while in orbit.
It increases bone metabolism . So there is no bone loss. This technique is going to be used in teeth movement in patients who wear braces to straighten their teeth .
There is a low frequency pulsating vibration on teeth while wearing braces , thus enhancing the metabolism of alveolar bone and thus move the teeth faster and make a good boney foundation.Which should be used only for 20 minutes a day.
This device is called AcceleDent , and is to be marketed in 2010.
