"You can win" by Shiv Khera is 1 of my favourite books it's all abt ur personality development. It's an inspirational book.

second is "who moved my cheese" by Spencer Johnson, the book invites individuals n organizations 2 enjoy less stress n more success by learning 2 deal with the inevitable change.

Indian authors... You can read A SUITABLE BOY by Vikram seth..

Chetan Bhagat's books are funny and contemporary but lack depth..

    I liked Paulo Coelho's Alchemist...

Who moved my cheese is also good..

My fav book is atlas shrugged by AYN RAND

You should read R K Narayanan's work. His writing style was simple and unpretentious with a natural element of humor about it. His writings focused on ordinary people, reminding the reader of next-door neighbors, cousins and the like, thereby providing a greater ability to relate to the topic. A few of his notable work includes Swami and Friends and Malgudi Days. You should read them
