When to apply for citizenship after green card

Hi, I'm a US citizen. I received my green card. It will be 3 years since I received my green card. Can I apply for citizenship? Or Should I have to wait more? If I can apply now..Do you know which forms I would require to fill out?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi dear,
Congrats for getting the green card. To apply for citizenship of America, you need to be a permanent resident by law (you should be a green card holder, which you are). You will have to show that you have a continuous permanent residence in US for minimum 5 years. If you are married to a US citizen, the duration can be of 3 years.
You will have to prove that you were physically present there from last 30 months and you have lived for 3 months in the state or USCIS district where you claim your residence.
If you want to know more about the citizenship and green card please visit http://www.uscis.gov/
