    Making Good Ice Cream tips

    I recently started learning to cook, am surprised that most of my dishes have received good comment and I feel glad about it. Now am planning to learn dessert items, in desserts I have chosen Ice-cream to practice first, kindly tell me easy ways to make Ice creams

    Good!!
    Fine, it is quiet easy to prepare ice creams when you take exact condiments and follow exact rules.
    The basic tips required to make Ice Creams are:-

    Ice cream takes at least 24 hours to freeze, to make earlier; kindly place the moulds in tightly packet container.
    Don't overfill your ice cream maker.
    Add essence after ice cream batter gets cooled for better flavor
    Homemade ice creams keep well for up to a week.
    To prevent ice crystals from forming, press plastic wrap on top of the ice cream.

    Ice Cream recipe:-
    Ingredients:-
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    475ml cream
    125ml cold milk
    1 tablespoon vanilla essence
    400g sweetened condensed milk


    Method:-
    1. In a medium bowl, stir cold milk, vanilla, condensed milk and salt
    2. In a large bowl, beat double cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold milk mixture into whipped cream.
    3. Pour into shallow 2 liter dish, cover and freeze for 4 hours, stirring once after 2 hours or when edges start to harden. Serve or store in an airtight container up to 10 days.
