    hi friends

    i lov to eat chilli potatos but the problem is dat i dont no hw to make chilli potato at home....
    i jst wnt to no the recipe....plz help me

    1. 125g potatoes, boiled and cut into ½-inch cube
    2. 3 tbsp. plain flour
    3. ½ tsp. salt
    4. some water
    5. vegetable oil for deep frying
    6. 2 tsp. vegetable oil
    7. 4-5 green chilies, chopped in long shreds
    8. 2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
    9. 1 ½ tsp. soya sauce
    10. 1 tbsp. chili sauce
    11. 2 tbsp. tomato sauce
    12. ½ tsp. sugar
    13. Ό tsp. pepper
    14. Ό tsp. salt
    15. 2 tbsp. fresh chopped coriander

    For garnishing:
    some fresh spring onions shreds

    To Serve:
    some toothpicks


    1. Mix plain flour and salt in a bowl and enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency such that it properly coats the potatoes pieces.
    2. Heat oil for deep-frying the potatoes pieces. Dip each potatoes piece in the batter making sure that it’s properly coated with the batter and deep-fry till brown and crispy.
    3. Heat 2 tsp. oil and add green chilies and garlic and stir. Add soya sauce, chili sauce and tomato sauce and stir again.
    4. Add sugar, salt and pepper and potatoes cubes and stir well.
    5. Cook for a minute till the sauces coat the potatoes and stir the coriander leaves and shift to serving dish.
    6. Garnish with the spring onions shreds.
    7. Insert a toothpick in each potato cube and serve hot.

    As many say, chilli potatos are one of most fabulous eatery you can make. However, making isn't that simple. This is how you can make:
    • 5 Large Potatoes & Cornflour - 4 TBSP
    • Soy Sauce - 2 TBSP
    • Oil, Vinegar, Salt, Sugar
    • Capsicum, Chili Powder, Onion
    • Green Chillies, Garlic - 1 TBSP
    • Ajinomoto - quarter teaspoon
    Boil potatoes and make it fork tender. You have to peel and cut potatoes to wedges thereafter. Using cornflour, you can coat its wedges and then fry that till it is brown in color. YOu also have to heat 2 TBSP oil. Mix onions, garlic, capsicum with oil and stir that for about 12 secs to fry it. After adding soy salt, sauce, ajinomotto, sugar, half glass water, stir them all. Mix cornflour, potatoes, vinegar, chili and add that to gravy. Cook all that for 2 mins. After adding potato, you can serve that hot

    Chilli potato is a very delicious spicy food which goes well with chapatti and parathas. Here is the recipe for this great dish.
    • Potatoes-5
    • Cornflour-5 tbsp
    • Vinegar-1 tbsp
    • Soy sauce-2 tbsp
    • Capsicum-2
    • Salt to taste
    • Onion-1
    • Garlic chopped-1tbsp
    • Red chilli powder-1tbsp
    • Green chilies-4
    • Ajjinomoto-1/4 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Slightly boil the potato, peel the skin and cut into wedges
    • Coat the potato with corn flour paste and deep fry till it turns golden brown
    • Take a pan and heat 2tbsp of oil and add onions, garlic and capsicum
    • Add to this soya sauce, salt, half cup water and ajjinomotto
    • Make a corn flour paste in a separate bowl and add to the above mixture
    • Add vinegar , potato and chilies and cook for 2 minutes

    Cool chilli potato recipe

    WoW! Chilli potato is my favorite dish, not only for me but for my family members also, I like the way my mom prepares it anyways I know the recipe and I am happy to share with you guys today, here is the recipe of chilli potato.
    • 5 Potatoes (large)
    • 4 Green Chilies
    • 1 Onion (sliced)
    • Ό Tsp Ajinomoto
    • ½ Tsp Sugar
    • 5 Tbsp Cornflour
    • 2 capsicum (sliced)
    • 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
    • 1 Tbsp Garlic (chopped)
    • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp Red Chilli powder
    • Oil for frying
    • Salt to taste

    • At first boil those potatoes peel them off and cut it into pieces. Coat these potato cubes in cornflour and deep fry them, take a pan and heat oil of 2 Tbsp and add capsicum, onions and garlic and stir fry them for about 15seconds. Now add chilli powder, sugar, soy sauce, ajinomoto, water and salt to it and stir them well.
    • Take a large bowl and add cornflour and water to it and mix them well, add the mixture to the gravy that you had already prepared.
    • To this add green chilli, vinegar and potatoes and mix them well. Cook it for another 5 minutes, and serve hot.

    Preparing chili potatoes is quite easy what you need to do is to follow the directions mentioned below like:


    5 Potatoes (Skinned and boiled)
    1 tsp Chili Powder
    ½ tsp Pepper Powder
    ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
    Salt to taste
    Oil as per requirement
    1 small bunch Coriander leaves (finely chopped)


    First cut the boiled potatoes in cubes.
    To a heated pan pour oil and lower the flame.
    Shift the ingredients except for coriander and stir for a second.
    Add the potato cubes and stir fry golden brown.
    Shift it to a bowl and sprinkle the coriander for seasoning.
